A Very Gray Kind of Day

It is a drippy, soggy, wet and dreary day. Although it is somewhat warm, it is not a good day to play outside or go for a walk. As the snow continues to melt, our backyard is turning into a lake. If it gets very cold in the next day or so, our driveway will be treacherously slippery.

(I couldn't stand to see that yucky outhouse any longer, so I deleted the photo.)

  1. Grey and foggy here, too. Ice and snow almost gone. Hang in there, ... spring is 'right around the corner' haha.

  3. Snow is melting. Is spring coming? It won't be here for awhile yet.

  4. We live in grey, dripping, soggy and dreary Washington. If we let that weather keep us house bound we would be hermits! We have rain slickers, umbrellas and waterproof shoes and boots. Ah... Did I mention attitudes too? :)

  5. You are too funny Martha that you got tired of looking at the yucky outhouse! It was very dreary here today, too, but there is no snow to melt, so not too soggy.

  6. Gmj, I think its mostly the very wet and smooth ice that keeps people from being out too much in this weather. I think the ER is likely full of people who slip, fall and break their wrists (or rear ends) on this kind of day.

  7. Yep, we have a lake too! Except we have a pole barn going up in our lake. Prettty unique I think! People go by, and laugh that we are doing such a thing. Hopefully, John and those he consulted with know what they are doing!!!
