A Basket Case

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law."
Galatians 5:22-23

I feel like somewhat of a basket case. If only I can be a "Basket Case for Christ", full of His fruit rather than the selfishness of me.

  1. I have been feeling a bit like that myself, Martha. Especially today! I will be working on being a "basket case for Christ" instead of the basket case I am feeling like. He can fill me up with His goodness.

  2. I felt like this last week. Did'nt know if I was coming or going. I whined, complained, and was overwhelmed! It was my wonderful hormones!! Maybe it's yours??

At any rate, very clever post title and analogy! See, your brain isn't as slow as you think!

  3. I think probably everyone feels this way at some point, but I like your ending statement, "full of His fruit rather than the selfishness of me"...very thought provoking.

  6. No, Joeks. The painting was done by a friend at church. I bought it at the Ladie's Silent Auction back before Christmas.

Michelle, it's not hormones this week. :(
