Feeling like Fall

Summer is scheduled to make a return today but as of yesterday we have had a week of wonderful fallish weather. The cooler temperatures and fresh breezes have been very welcome here. They are the best for taking walks in the orchard and getting chores done around the house. I woke up with a headache this morning but thanks to some Advil and a little decongestant I feel much better now. Time to get something accomplished!

  1. We must've had different weather than you for the past few days. The day before yesterday it was close to 80 and muggy, and yesterday it was in the 80's and again muggy. This morning when I opened the sliding door to let Jake out at 7:30 it was very warm and sticky. Our house 82 degrees, ugh!

  2. I don't know what the temperature was yesterday, but here by the lake it was gorgeous. Not too hot, not too cold, just perfect.

  7. Down here in L.I. it was warm...but not too bad. It was pretty comfortable over all I guess. A good thing is that I don't seem to have the allergies here!

  10. Hi Jenny. These are some of last year's sunflowers. I know I took the photo here at home but am having a hard time remembering where we planted them. (Maybe the birds did it?)
