Not much progress but there is hope. The seeds are being planted and soon sprouts will begin to appear. Of course at the moment the seeds are germinating in my mind. Progress is slow but it is happening. Just like the seeds buried in the ground take some time to show themselves, such is the case here.
For the past several days I have been looking at flowers and thinking. Now I have decided how to proceed. The fence has been penciled in. I plan on starting in this corner, painting a "primer" coat on the fence to make it more visible. A wisteria will grace the corner spreading it's branches on either wall with trailing flowers. Once the wisteria is under way the flower garden will continue to spread toward the windows.
Okay, well that's the plan anyhow...

This is going to be interesting to watch. I love picket fences and adore Wisteria.
ReplyDeleteI saw some applique type stick on flowers in a catalog a few months ago that were for a corner.
I thought at the time they were pretty, but nothing compared to what this will be like.
Will be watching!!
Thanks for your bd wishes to Nancy.

Now that's my kind of fencing!
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of wisteria in South Mississippi. I have a vine in both the front and back yards, but it's not in bloom right now. When it's blooming, it's gorgeous, but unfortunately, we have to endure several months of ugly.
You have the right idea--paint it at it's most beautiful and enjoy it year round!
I have a wisteria in my yard too but have never seen it flower. It is just wild and obnoxious, and insists on trying to overrun my picnic table.
