I'm so glad that God doesn't get tired. He never grows grumpy or indifferent. He's never too distracted to hear my prayer or a cry for help. He loves me whether I stand or fall, forgives me repeatedly, and washes me clean each day. Yes, I know that I am eternally forgiven, because God lives outside of time, but I am still within and need His mercies new each morning. Tonight I rest in His promise and pray for the sleep my weary body and soul so desperately need.
