It's done! I did it! Every dreaded appointment crossed off my list. New doctor, blood work, mammogram, gynecologist, full mouth x-rays, dental work, teeth cleaned, colonoscopy. Check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check. (I'm just slightly proud of my accomplishment. It's a little like having run a triathlon. Ha ha!) As long as everything checks out good, there will be no more appointments until fall. My boss will be ecstatic.
Merry Christmas!

...I still have a colonoscopy on my list.
ReplyDeleteI totally get that. I thought I was going to leave it on the list forever.
DeleteYay!!! Good for you !!! I sure put things off too.. Gotta make my annual physical appointment but need to loose some weight first...not ready for the bad news. I'm so BAD !
ReplyDeleteSue
I have never had annual physicals with anyone but my ob/gyn and that was in my childbearing years. This is the beginning of something new. (And I am quite proficient at putting things off too...)
DeleteSo good to stay on top of health issues. I will have a colonoscoppy in September. Every three years for me. Get yearly mamograms and looks like I might need cateract surgery on my right eye. Will find out in June. Body parts so wear out...Thankful for great insurance and a good PIH team of doctors.
ReplyDeleteGood insurance is definitely a plus! I fell off the wagon when we dropped our health insurance years ago. It got too expensive to maintain and we picked up a state plan for the kids instead. For years I didn't even know if I had a doctor and had to reestablish connections a few years ago. It feels good to have everything in order again.
