They move fast and as soon as one flies away another is there to take its place. Well, sometimes that's how it works... Other times we just stand there with our hands out in the air until our shoulders are so tired they ache.
I don't know if the birds who come here would do that though I think the chickadees might and maybe the titmouse but that would be about it. The others are a big stingy with their visits.
The Bird Song Trail is a pretty special place. The birds there have eaten out of visitor's hands for many years. It's not something that happens in my backyard, which is a good thing because my arms would probably fall right off!
Time for a field trip - that is cool! At first I thought it WAS at your house (like my reading comprehension skills?!) and I was going to invite myself over. Also Joel says you are a good friend because you always comment on my blog. I say ditto! Also your Sunday scriptures inspired me to do the same.
I am still praying for your family. God is still using your dad now, even in his weakness.
how fun is that?!!
ReplyDeleteawesome... :)
I love birds. We have so many bird houses and feeders, but have never tried to feed out of hand.
