O God, You have taught me from my youth;
And to this day I declare Your wondrous works.
Now also when I am old and gray-headed,
O God, do not forsake me,
Until I declare Your strength to this generation,
Your power to everyone who is to come.
Psalm 71:17-18

Josiah and I had a good visit with my mom and dad last night. Josh came to play today and I got my hair cut. Tonight we made pizza for supper. I'm hoping the migraine I've been fighting since yesterday morning will not return tonight.

  1. M. I know you and I don't agree on some things but I want to suggest something o help the headaches. Don't eat pasta or other bread products for a while. Gluten is a killer of the brain.

  2. So glad you went over and visited. I had a nice visit with them today. The boys mowed their lawn, Steven did the front and Michael did the back. Cousin John and his daughter Emily came to visit while we were there, which I think made dad very happy. John (from your church) came to play instruments with him, which he enjoyed as well. Mom and I chatted and worked on the puzzle.
    I hope your migraine stays away. Excedrin Migraine works very well, I don't know if you've ever given it a try. Sleep tight!

  3. What a wonderful couple of verses Martha. God's word is so incredibly rich isn't it.

    Hope you haven't had any more migraine visits. Praying for you my friend.

  4. Papa, I have been attempting a gluten-free diet for the past month. In our previous church there was a man who suffered terrible for years with debilitating headaches. It was five years before they discovered he had gluten ataxia. What a difference a change in Mike's diet accomplished. You just may be the encouragement I need to keep going. Thanks!

  8. Martha, I love the combination of the scripture with the photo. I'm cheating gray with hair color, but God knows the truth! And He has indeed shown me wondrous works.
