A Normal Winter # 2

In a normal winter, one with snow, my children would ask every day if we could go sledding. Two years ago we had a wonderful time with the sleds. The snow was well packed on the hills and since we homeschool we could head out to the park in the early afternoon and have the whole place to ourselves. I normally don't care much for standing out in the cold but taking these photos was a lot of fun. I have to say, the sledding last year was very disappointing. We grabbed the one and only opportunity there was and went out one Saturday. The grass was peeking through and it was muddy but it was the only chance for Ben to try out his new sled. Ahh... at least we have some good memories from this trip two years ago.

  1. Seeing as it is snowing now (thanks "t"), maybe we can go sledding this weekend?

  2. We haven't gone sledding for 2 winters now because of the weather, but it is supposed to snow tomorrow and Wednesday so maybe those days will be good for sledding! On Thursday the temps are supposed to be back up into the 40's.

  3. Looks like they were having a great time. No sledding here yet although it is supposed to start getting cold so we'll see.

  5. I didn't think so either, Priscilla. But then again, this is Rochester, so you never know!

  6. I intensely dislike winter and even I am missing the snow.
