CONGRATULATIONS! Being a grandma is such a blessing and you have now been blessed 13 times, but I can't imagine how far away he seems. I am sure Jonah will love you just as you do him.
Thank you. He feels far away, but so did his brothers. I am so grateful for computers and the ability to be there even though I am here. I'm looking forward to meeting him sometime in 2020. :0)
Do you ever FaceTime the grandkids? My daughter Margaret lives up in Oswego, she works full time from home. Her little Wulf is a handful, so she will call me with FaceTime to keep him busy. I just have to be careful not to say any of the key words that make him go get his shoes and have a meltdown, because he wants to come to my house. But technology does bring the babies closer, a long time ago, it was taking a pic, getting it developed, and sending it in the mail. But I know, I know, nothing on earth beats holding the newborn and sinking your nose into their hair. Congratulations, and I'm sorry baby Jonah is so far away.
Facetime has been done in the past, but we've never gotten into it much. I do love being able to connect online, although there is nothing like being there. I'll just have to imagine the newborn smell from here. :0)
...congrats grandma!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks.

Oh what a precious little bundle. Being a Grandma from a distance is so hard. I hope you can visit them soon.
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of them and can't wait to see them for real.
