The Barn Collective

I borrowed a photo today. Spring is coming, eventually, and I've been thinking on new places to visit.

I've never been to The Apple Farm in Victor, NY and it looks like a cool place to visit. (The barn is from their website.) A fire destroyed their store a couple years back and I'm not even sure if the barn remains. It's a little bit of a hike from here, but also close to Ganondagan State Historic Site, which is directly across the street from where my dad's Aunt Harriet used to live.

Meet us at Tom's.

  1. ...we took our kids to pick apples here years ago. the Ganondagan State Historic Site is worth the trip, I went there with my Grandson's Cub Scout group. I think that we may see the sun today, I'll take my camera and see what I can find after church. Enjoy your day.

    1. I left home without my camera again. I was on the phone when I walked out the door to my sister's car... It is a day of snow and sunshine.

    1. There is nothing quite like an old, weathered barn.

    1. Those are some of our great New York Sate clouds! They look like autumn, even if the trees don't. My favorite time of the year.

  5. I love that you have a wandering spirit and love to find new places to explore.

We are home for the second Sunday... I caught what Don has, so been coughing, and not feeling like I could sit through a service without a coughing fit, and making everyone say....why would you come to church sick....

Hopefully we will both be over his soon.

    1. Prone to wander... Reminds me of a song. But I do love to explore new places, especially with a friend.

I sure hope you and Don are feeling better soon! Many prayers. I love you both.
