Oh yes, I think I loved Burt and Ernie more than my kids.
ReplyDeleteIn fact I had several puppets that I used in Sunday School with the theme of a letter like "D" is for Daniel in the Lions Den... It worked well for many years with the little ones.
Sesame Street was my lovely babysitter when my son was young.

ReplyDeleteThey just had a clip about Sesame Street on TV News this evening. (I think it was because someone who originated it had died. Sorry). I was interested in hearing about how he came up with the concept and about how kids learn.
