Feeling Better

I am feeling much better today. My headache and body aches are gone and my thoughts are not so clouded. Maybe I will actually get something accomplished today and not need that afternoon nap. I still need to pick up some nasal spray and be diligent about taking my antihistimines or I will end up on the couch once again. I would much rather be out working in my garden enjoying the day or even in the kitchen mixing up a batch of cookies.
Mother's Day is fast approaching and I am ashamed to admit I am far from ready. Every special occasion sneaks up on me much too quickly. I had hoped to have a Mother's Day craft for the kids at church tonight but so far I have no clue what we will do. I still have time to do something special for my own mom if I can get myself in gear and get it done, whatever "it" may be.

  2. Martha, one year when I was teaching the little ones, I bought a box of the small individual packages of "Mother's Cookies" and made a Construcion Paper holder with a half paper dollie, the word "Mothers" shows up at the top...it went over well !! Just an idea.
Love and Hug and glad you are feeling better. If I was closer I'd make them for you.

  3. Wanda, that would be a really cute idea but I have no clue where I would get "Mother's Cookies". You'd have to ship them to me because I don't think they sell them on the east coast.

  4. what kind of nasal spray are you using? My allergies were quite bad yesterday. I tend to forget to take my "magic" nasal spray and then I pay for it the next day. It works pretty well when I remember to take it...

  5. Ya all are so funny with the noses! I know it's not fun to have allergies, but sweeties, don't you think staying away from the blossoms might help? The macro pics are great, and Tracy you garden is beautiful but .... Just a thought. :)

Well, seeing as breathing is a necessity of life and pollen floats unseen through the air, staying away from the blossoms won't solve the whole problem. So, at certain times of the year we resort to drastic measures.
