Judi recently tagged me for a music meme but without Nathan in the house I don't hear much music. Nathan is the "Music Man" around here. Several years ago he learned to play the guitar and now he is teaching himslef to play the piano. Now if only he could read music. (I apologize for the sideways video.)

Arg!
ReplyDeleteI like the faces that go along with his music playing...we should tape a camera to the piano and watch those while he plays.
ReplyDeleteJoe says "Arg!" cause he always wanted to learn how to play. I say "Arg!" too cause I should still be playing and haven't the inspiration to do so anymore.
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me. How neat that he's teaching himself! It sounds like he takes after his Aunt Priscilla.
ReplyDeleteI will give you the inspiration Bethany...that happened to Aunty Jeanne also...she used to fill the Teal household with music all the time..her and gramaTeal...used to be playing quite a bit around there...it t'is a wonderful thing and an inspiration to the youngn's coming up now..one of them is little Josh..the other is gramanita...I Love to hear music playing in the house...so play...because you can...I love you..yo...I love the videos...its like taking a bit of a visit...I love the photos too...soooo much I just can't splain...big hugs yogramanita (again)
ReplyDelete:D Nate makes me smile and I love his playing. Cool. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteHe sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteArg! Nobody likes my piano playing! I wish I could play like Daniel & Levi.
ReplyDeleteI love your piano playing too, Hannah.
ReplyDeleteI love his expression too. Very good, Nate!
ReplyDeleteHannah, I loved it that you played while you were here the other day!
I'm glad to see you're learning another instrument. Having learned to play guitar helped me a lot when I went back to piano. Of course, now I barely ever play either. I don't have room for a piano and I haven't made any progress on the guitar in a long time.
ReplyDeleteHey Jim,
ReplyDeleteI started transfering chords to the piano from guitar, so right now my playing is very elementary. I keep a rythm (until I get excited in which case I start getting faster) with my left hand and play a melody and/or harmony with the right and I only know how to play in a few keys. I would really like to take some lessons solely for technique purposes but can't afford to do so.
