The tree lives to produce apples. What do the apples live for? The apples have to die in order to become useful. Without their "death" there would be no apple pie, no strudels, no juice... Without the tree letting go, we would not be blessed by the fruit it bears.
so if we or should I say me...am an apple then it is the dieing of self to be useful eh? or the tree is constantly giving too in and out of season....mmmmmmmmm
Good pondering, Martha. Thanks for giving me something to think about today!
ReplyDeleteAhh, with seven kids, I'd say the tree :)

ReplyDeleteYummm! That's the best part about fall and the end of summer - fresh, tart apples!

Therein comes the pondering... Possibly we need to be a "little bit apple and a little bit tree..."
