Teal Lake made a return to the back yard today. Hannah and her friend decided to check out the water. It's nice having your very own lake until a couple of weeks go by and it starts to stagnate. The ducks will soon move in and it will be one big stinky puddle. Better enjoy it while the water is fresh!
Bring your canoes and bathing suits and set up your tents on the water's edge. This is a limited time offer. Hurry over while there's still time!
I'm sure Sherman would love it. He wouldn't even mind if it was stinky and stagnant.
ReplyDeleteHello Misquitos!!
ReplyDeleteCan we reseve a camping spot for this weekend? I would like one by the waters edge. Do you have any good canoe renting places around where I can pick up a canoe for cheap? And will you have a bonfire every evening... or only on Saturdays?
ReplyDeleteHow about the fishing, is it good?!
ReplyDeleteDoes Sherman like camping too?
ReplyDeleteMosquitos, yikes! I forgot about them. The fishing... you can fish to your heart's content but I can't guarentee what you will catch.
Beth, you are welcome whenever you wish to be here. Canoes... let me think on that one. Hey, Ben has an inflatable sle. Maybe that will work, along with a push stick. The water's not too deep. And bonfires, as long as there is wood to burn and marshymallows to roast we'll have 'em!

ReplyDeleteWe've never taken Sherman camping but I'm sure he would love it! Mosquitoes don't seem to bother him!
