It's going to be a hot and humid weekend, typical of July in upstate NY. Today I had seven kids for the better part of the afternoon. It is rather warm so we are thankful for Mr. Conner and his willingness to have us use his pool every summer. We don't even have to ask. He says if we don't use his pool, he's going to take it down. I was hesitant at first, but he's serious. The Conner's are good neighbors and we are thankful for them.
Ahhh, yes. Our kids didn't get to use ours until about 2:30 this afternoon because of all the running around we had to do. Steven had Art lessons, Michael had Golf lessons, and both wanted to go to the library to find books for the summer reading program. At 2: 30 Dr. Dan came to discuss Steven with us, and what would be best for him next year and in the years to come (school stuff). While he was here the kids finally got to go in the pool. He was talking with us until around 4:00, so it's been a busy day!
