The Barn Collective

Old barns fall down. One never knows when they will give up the ghost and collapse into a broken heap. This former beauty is on Ridge Road in Ontario, NY



Last time I drove by part of the roof had caved in and she was looking pretty rough.

      I am curious as to her story. She's very close to the road. And sill beautiful in her own way.

      Yes, catch her now before she's gone. There is another barn down Fisher Rd, just past Shepherd whose middle has caved in. I'd like to take some photos there too but it's partially hidden by trees.

      I think so too. We drove past her yesterday and she was hidden from sight by trees and bushes that have grown up along the front.

    It is still pretty in its own way. This is one I would love to be out beside with my sketch book in hand. Love the red. Maybe someone will miraculously buy the land and fix it up.
