1. If you were a comic strip character, who would you be and why?
2. What thought or message would you want to put in a fortune cookie?
3. If you had to give up a favorite food, which would be the most difficult to give up?

    1. I would be Garfield because who wouldn't want to eat and sleep all day long!

    3. It would be hard for me to give up peanut butter. I love it on a spoon, with jelly, in cookies...not with soup though ;-)

      Annie, your answers made me smile.
      But of course, if you put the peanut butter on a nice thick slice of bread, it goes perfectly fine with homemade chicken soup.

    1. I would be Broom- Hilda because she can ride on a broom! And that's way cool. Never mind the fact that she's described as "man-crazy, cigar-smoking, beer-guzzling, and 1,500-years-old."

    2. "Always be kinder than you feel."

    3. Food in general is pretty hard to give up... I know I need to cut back on my sugar intake and sugar is a favorite. That would be hard. No chocolate, no cake, no cookies... Doesn't it make you sad just thinking about it?

    1. Violet in the comic strip Peanuts. I think it is because she is more of a background character...a lesser known. No one seems to think of her much, she doesn't stand out. This seems to fit me.
    2. It's going to be okay.
    3. Ice cream. I'm speaking from experience.

    1. Wonder Woman because she seems to have an endless amount of energy and she always looks great when she should be exhausted.

      Wonder Woman! Why didn't I think of her? Oh well, at least they both fly.
      Cookies. I almost said that. (Actually, I wrote it first and then changed it. I don't think I could live without cookies.)

    1. Mommy in Family Circus, trying to keep up with the kids and enjoying their views on life. But with the kids grown, I guess I'm really more like the grandma who just gets to visit now and again.
    2. Remember to look at the big picture.

      I thought of Ziggy but not the Family Circus, though there's been plenty of circus around here in the past.
      The big picture... Sometimes I wonder what it is.
