Back to work tomorrow...
Our faraway grandson, back at home again, has been repeating the names of his cousins and Aunt Hannah. It will be interesting to watch how he puts this thing called "family" together in his little mind and understanding. A part of me is terribly disappointed to have missed out on three days of his visit, and another part is happy that he had so many others to fill in the gap.
It was an exhausting week and a week of learning. It will be interesting to see what I do with my new-found knowledge. Am I competent enough to take what I have learned and do something with it? Or will I continue on and take little to no action? Ah, the questions of life!
Aubrey was fascinated by Aunt Hannah's ability to roll her tongue, but try as she might, she couldn't quite do it herself. She finally gave up and used it like any other not-quite-four-year-old.
Would you believe I miss the activity?

What adorable faces. I just love your grandkids. They are so precious. Can't believe our Tristan will be 2, June 12. We will Skype on his Birthday so he can open his present from us and we can watch. Love technology!!
ReplyDeleteYes, technology takes just a little bit of the sting out of being so far away. How could these two little guys be celebrating a second birthday already?
