Parades and Parties

Yesterday was the Williamson Apple Blossom Parade. Since my children grew up living there, the Apple Blossom Festival was an integral part of their childhoods, so Hannah and I packed the boys into the minivan and set off to watch.

    1. An 80th birthday only comes around once in a lifetime. You were right where you were supposed to be!

    1. It was a great day. Killian's tummy had been off in the morning, so we kept him away from the crowds. He didn't seem to mind at all. Idris collected parade candy and shared with him.

  3. Oh my goodness, Martha, you have been showered with trials! I am praying with all of my heart that dear Sergio and family will receive good news! Hold on to your faith, my friend, don't let doubt or discouragement get hold of you. As far as the day care debacle, my goodness, would they rather a child chokes on a crayon? My heart aches for you, and a verse comes to mind...Genesis 50 v:20..."You intended to harm me, but God meant it for good....." there is always something to learn, and God loves you. Hugs, dear Martha, I'm praying for you!!!

    1. Thank you so much, dear Della! It's been quite the week. We are struck down but not destroyed, yes? Underneath all the turmoil is a peace that passes even our understanding.
We had good news from Mexico today.
