We were taking our last subway ride when he got into our car. It was the one and only video I took on our trip, and though we witnessed several musicians of varying styles and talents, this was one of my favorites.
Anyone know what he's saying?

Isn't it great to view such a diversified slice of America in one spot? I loved the Metro trains in DC for just this reason.
ReplyDeleteNo I don't have a clue what he is singing.
Did you give him a tip for videoing? (is that a word?) I always heard that you are supposed to if you video or take a picture.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I heard clearly was "se quiero." It means "I wish for" the "se" indicates what he wishes for but I can't tell what because I don't understand the rest. It could mean "it or her." I think I am right in this, but I'm not totally fluent. Merely functional in Spanish.
No, I didn't give him anything. He hopped back off the train when the doors opened at the next stop. Hannah says the guy sitting by the door, the one who appears to be totally ignoring him, gave him something. I'm not city savvy yet, still learning. Next time I'll take a wad of ones to drop in buckets, baskets, and violin cases. :) (I did drop something in the violin case in Central Park.
