Yesterday's windstorm was no match for Beth and Adam's table out on their back deck. It went sailing away, over the housetop and into the front lawn where Bethany found it when she returned home from work. Now that would have been fun to watch! Good thing she has a dad who's handy at fixing things as two of her umbrella supports are broken.
Terrible thing... Now we have to set up our table all over again in order to enjoy supper on the deck tonight. And the other wooden support blew off the roof today, so we don't have to climb up a ladder to get it. Let Dad know!

The wooden support was for the umbrella. It broke when the the umbrella hit the roof on the way down. Adam would have had to get it off the roof if it hadn't blown down.
