Wash Day

It was a great day to hang laundry out on the line. I hung out jeans, t-shirts, and tablecloths but decided to throw the towels, socks and underwear in the dryer so as they wouldn't be quite so "crunchy".
Maybe tomorrow I'll make a rhubarb pie...

  2. LOL!! This is getting really strange, I have a picture on my desk I was going to blog tomorrow, of me hanging clothes out to dry.I just bought rhubarb yesterday for a pie! It is very hot here (in the 90s) so after I made strawberry jam early this morning, I decided to make pie tomorrow. Your always one step ahead of me, probably cause your younger and your mind hasn't gone south....yet :o)

  5. I will define "Gananda Rhubarb" for Rachel. She used to live in a housing tract called Gananda and must have grown rhubarb there before she moved to her new house.

Gmj, there are days when I feel like my whole body has gone south and taken my mind with it! I'm actually behind on the rhubarb as I've had it for several days, and I'm likely hanging last weeks clothes out to dry. Maybe you're really way ahead of me! :)

  7. What a memory, clothes hanging on the line. It's like a painting in the fresh air.
    Thanks for stopping by Martha.

  8. I love rhubarb pie. I haven't had it since I was a child though. My favorite is cherry rhubarb. We have an expensive dryer but we still put clothes on the line on sunny days. I prefer that crunchy feeling. Thanks,

    Greg

  9. Strawberry rhubarb rules. I must bake one soon. It would make Jamie happy (and me too).
