I baked a pie today! It's just plain rhubarb and I think we need some vanilla ice cream to go with it. Rhubarb pie just isn't the same without vanilla ice cream.
Tomorrow we are going to the Buffalo Zoo with Shelly... if it doesn't rain.

Yummy, pie! I won't do any baking today since our house is already too warm as it is. It's gotta be in the 90's out there...I'm not complaining.

ReplyDeleteThere's a lady at my church who has a special oven she uses in summertime. It's out in one of her barns. (one that is close to the house) I think that could be smart.

ReplyDeleteI love rhubarb pie. My friend made a rhubarb sauce once that we ate hot over vanilla ice cream sprinkled with granola. yummo! (as Nixter would say)
