Prickly

I have been fighting a headache for the past four or five days. It is making me feel very sleepy and unproductive. The weather outside is gorgeous and we are stuck here doing school work. Yuck! We should have gone on our field trip today instead...

I am ready for fall where the skies are a little more overcast, the temperatures are a little cooler and staying in the house all day doesn't feel so much like a waste of time.

Crabby. I don't like feeling tired and crabby. Feeling crabby makes me hungry.

  1. Okay!! Get viscious and clean a toilet, do push-ups at the kitchen sink, side lunges when you dust, put head phones on, play some inspirational rock music (Bethoven works best for me) and clean a window or two, wash all the light fixtures in the house and for goodness sakes DRINK SOME COFFEE!!
If ya wash the windows outside you are doing double duty, and if you can manage to put it in a lesson plan so much the better. Soap bubbles are always good for a science lesson :O)

  2. Should I consider that a "kick in the butt"? Okay, I'll go find something to do.

    First I'll take some Ibuprofen...

  3. I can't believe that all week (through Sunday) we will have temps in the 80's! That is very unusual for this time of year. I wonder when our leaves will be at their peak.

Sorry about your headache...allergies? The cooler temps will be here next week. For now enjoy a few more warm weather walks in the orchard.

  4. Yes, take something for that headache first.

Try turning on some fun music and dancing with your dog until he goes crazy and you have to let him outside because he is so hyper.

  5. I took some Advil and went for an orchard walk. I still have a headache but the medicine has taken the edge off. The sun is now hiding behind the clouds that rolled in and I'm feeling more relaxed.

  7. I've been battling a headache too (story of my life!)... but for me I think it's caffeine. Today, instead of my normal excedrine (sp?) I got a diet coke. It actually has less caffeine so I thought that maybe I could wean myself off that way. ;) The trick is not to drink more than one a day!!!!

  9. Hey, you asked what to do about excersize when you can't leave home, I gave ya what I use to do when I was a stay at home mom and couldn't afford a gym. Maybe I should practice what I preach? :)
