Sunday Scripture

[We are] hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; [we are] perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--
2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Leaves don't worry when strong winds blow...

It's been a stressful week, but God is still in the driver's seat. He has everything under control. He holds me in His hand, and He loves me. Best of all, He loves those I love, and He has a plan.

    1. Lindsey, God works in mysterious ways, doesn't He?

I took a peek at your blog too. Somewhere, buried in my basement, are those books on Creole we bought several years back, after a hurricane, when my daughter longed to go on a missions trip to Haiti. I think perhaps God is slowly putting that together. Time will tell.
