We went out to church on Sunday evening. Mom decided to come along. We came home a few hours later to a couple of rather excited dogs and a big mess inside the back door. (This happened once before but it's been years now.)
There were slivers of paneling and shredded drywall all over the floor. It appears someone came partway in before deciding better of the idea. Too bad they were stuck. Thankfully there was little sign of bleeding. All the struggle appears to be in trying to get back out. Sure did have Jasmine riled! She spent the whole night out in the barn and the next day keeping guard on the back step.
Give your dogs a hug! Carl
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what we would do if we came home to a raccoon in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThat hole was made by a raccoon????
ReplyDeleteI am glad that it was a raccoon. At first I thought it was a person.
ReplyDeleteWell, the wild beast, whatever it was, made the original hole bigger.
ReplyDeleteI bet Vinnie could almost fit out the cat door now. He tried before.
Oh dear!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to know what you thought it was too. Raccoon, eh?
ReplyDeleteWhen I watch You-tube videos, it's usually a raccoon that comes in the cat door. Whoever it was was worried enough that he left a puddle on the top step just outside the cat door.
ReplyDeleteI guess he won't be coming back for a visit any time soon. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'll have to show this to Caleb, he loves raccoons. This is truly a wild story!
