"Nothing lasts except the grace of God, by which I'm saved." (That's a happy truth)
The sad truth is that these little snow people are fading fast, even their arms are getting droopy. I felt a little bit like this myself this afternoon.
In spite of their droopy arms and failing eyes (and falling noses) these snowmen are still making me smile. I thought they were beautiful on Monday and they're rather cute today too. Ever wonder if this is how God sees us?

I just know under that snow is grass and flowers, sometimes it is hard to wait for Gods miricles, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteIt won't be long before the grass is green and the flowers are blooming. Waiting can be hard but if I keeps a positive attitude, I can enjoy now too.
ReplyDeleteWe can enjoy now, and anticipate spring. There is something beautiful about the changing seasons, and it keeps things from getting too boring. God is very good!
ReplyDeleteAnother few weeks and I'll be looking for crocuses to take pictures of!
ReplyDeletePoor things are just melting away!
ReplyDelete"Help me!....I'm melting!"
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind winter so much if it were shorter. One winter I lived in St Louis and when spring came I couldn't understand why I felt so guilty. I guess I didn't think it was right to enjoy the nice weather so soon. (yes, I know that sounds crazy.)
ReplyDeleteI went to Lafayette, Louisiana one year in late March. It felt like summer there and I was disappointed to come home and have to face more "cold" weather.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe some people are playing on the beach while we're building snowmen!
I was just out shoveling, as was one of my neighbors, and she commented "I just keep thinking, this will be good for the flowers". It's pretty heavy and deep and my arms are in shock from so much lifting. At least it's pretty warm outside.
