The weather has warmed up a bit and this morning we ventured outside for a little while. I cleaned out my garden boxes while the girls picked handfuls of dandelions to surprise their mothers. Bella found this treasure."A feather!" I said, to which she replied, "I think it's from Sofie."
I laughed inside. Does she really think Sofie has feathers? It must be that curly little wisp of a tail stuck on her back end. Yes, it does remind me of feathers. (Too funny!) It's now reminding me also of Dr. Seuss' "Lolla Lee Lou" who grew some pretty fancy tail feathers herself.

ReplyDeleteI got up early, still a little windy, but got my merrigolds planted and put the other ones in decorative pots. The back yard is looking much better for the BBQ on Sunday.
Yard work is hard. Just took a shower, and now I think it's time for a nap!
