Priscilla came over and we took a ride to Chimney Bluffs. It was cold. A stiff wind blew off Lake Ontario and left our ears aching and our bodies shivering. The bluffs look old, tired, and somehow unimpressive. They are still interesting, but erosion over the past twenty years or so has taken much of their former majesty. Priscilla was very surprised and rather disappointed.
I was not surprised but it is sad to recall how pretty they once were in comparison to now. I think a return trip would be nice, but not until the weather warms up and the water temperatures are tolerable. It really is a nice place to visit and a great spot to take a hike.

They really have changed a lot even since I was I a kid of 4 or 5. It is rather disappointing. They still are neat to visit thought.
