Winky Face

Not much time to sit and sort through thoughts this week. I've had plenty of time to sit, but not much thinking alone time. Probably because I let myself be distracted... or stay in bed too long. (I'm blaming it on the holidays, especially those that keep me up until midnight.)

I had to laugh when I saw this picture come up this week. I thought it would be funny to try but I'm not the one who typically makes the coffee each morning.

I enjoy my morning cup of coffee. It would be more fun to actually share it with a friend and a slice of coffee cake, but I typically end up settling for my online buddies and imagine them on the other side of the computer, coffee cup in hand (with or without the cake).

    Always with the cake...or pie...never with the coffee. I get enough caffeine from all the chocolate cake :-)

      I do not believe you eat all the chocolate cake you speak of. Nor do I drink all the coffee I might lead one to believe I consume. However, should I chance to go out for coffee and dessert with you, my darling, I would most certainly order the chocolate cake.

    Coffee cake...coffee...chitchat....I'm in!
    My boyfriend makes the coffee too!
    He is up earlier than me during the week...but just a bit earlier!

      I am always disappointed if the coffee pot is empty.
      When you come back from your sunny getaway, I am going to hop in my car and drive your direction. I don't know if I can wait all the way to July.
