Wow, Martha. That final shot of the woodpecker is amazing! I do love birds. Someday I will take up birding, I think. Thanks! Amy
Thank you, Amy. I am blessed with a tree not too far outside my window and a host of beautiful birds. Birding is rather fun.:0)
Great bird photos, and I love your cat!
Thank you so much. That cat is Naughty Too. His brother's name is The Naughty One.:0)
Wonerful, i just love birds ! Nice choice and beautiful photo's Have a nice abc-day/-week♫ M e l ☺ d y ♫ <abc-w-team)
They are cheery little creatures, aren't they?:0)
Thank you, Dee Dee.:0)
Great shots and I've seen many birders out with their telephoto lenses while I've been out shooting nature.Leslieabcw team
A long lens is a must for catching bird photos. They are just too quick to take off otherwise.:0)
I love how you captured the woodpecker in flight.I really like watching the birds but don't put food out for them. it draws too many "pests". Maybe if we had the kind of winters you do, I would be a little more generous with the feeders.
We have a few "pests" too, but I like watching them too, providing they are squirrels.:0)
birding teaches patience, something I learn such one of these days
I do struggle in the patience area. Having a big tree right outside my living room window helps.:0)
I'm really bad at identifying birds, other than a handful of males, such as cardinals and blue jays. I know THEM from baseball teams!ROG, ABCW
I know the feeling, Roger. I'm learning them a few at a time.:0)
