It's late but it's still Thursday and I think there's enough time left in the day for a Thursday post. (I spent the afternoon catching up with a friend and I have to say, it was very nice.) So, here we go.
1. Do you grow a garden? What is in it?
2. Something on your bucket list.
3.What is under your bed?
A Notable November Monday Morning Mish-Mash.

1. I missed my flower gardens last year and our vegetable garden grew only peppers. This year I hope to plant a myriad of bright and sunny colored flowers and a host of happy vegetables.
ReplyDelete2. I'm staring at the screen and beginning to wonder if I even have a bucket list... but I still want to find a boat, take a ride on Irondequoit Bay, and remember boat rides on the bay with my dad.
And maybe write that children's book in time for next Christmas.
3. Under my bed... (I should go look, but it's dark up there so I'm going to take a guess.) ... dust, a used tissue or two, loose change, and wayward sock. And every so often, if I leave the door open, a naughty cat.
:0)
1. I wish I could grow a garden, fresh veggies would be lovely. But I have a black thumb and very hot summers, two things that don't work so well for gardening.
ReplyDelete2. Travel...all sorts of traveling...everywhere!
3. Whatever my husband has put under there. He follows the motto "out of sight, out of mind," so random things always end up under the bed.
Uncle James has the greener thumb. Maybe from all his years of gardening as a kid.
DeleteTraveling to the Finger Lakes maybe?
We used to have our living room blinds under our bed. I think that's when I gave up on vacuuming under there.
:0)
1. Flower gardens. I would like a fruit patch.
ReplyDelete2. Bucket list....missions trip with my hubby.
3. Out of season cloths, small fireproof lock box, dust in the carpet.
Brenda
What kind of fruit would you like?
DeleteA missions trip sounds fun. Do you want to go anywhere special?
Once upon a time I prided myself on the cleanliness of the space under my bed... Once upon a time.
:0)
Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries. Somewhere with orphans, kids to love on. Maybe Sam would let me bring one home.
DeleteThat would be cool.

1. Yes. Weeds. I did not inherit Mom's green thumb.
ReplyDelete2. I'd like to go out west. I am the only 49 year old I know of on the east coast who has never been out west. Children have gone out there....but not me.
3. A marble shoot. It's in a box waiting for grandchildren some day. Or for anyone discovering their inner child.
I am also very good at growing weeds. My kids, at least Dave and Bethany, have greener thumbs than me.
DeleteHow far west would you like to go?
I have an inner child. Maybe I'll come over and play with you one day, providing you also have an inner child who would like to play.
:0)
All the way to California. And places between too.
DeleteI haven't been to the west coast either. Very limited travel, my hubby traveled before we married, doesn't want to now. Brenda
DeleteI was all the way to the west coast and didn't get to put my feet in the ocean. Maybe next time.
Delete1. I don't, but Benny does. Corn, flowers, tomatoes, flowers, cabbage, flowers, cucumbers, flowers, okra, flowers, ...
ReplyDelete2. To go on a mission trip (not as a youth sponsor), and also to see the New England states and Niagara Falls
3. Dust and cat fur!
I like the flowers part. :)
DeleteGrandma always grew flowers alongside her vegetables.
Come visit me and we can go to Niagara Falls.
Cat fur... I probably have a bit of that under my bed too.
My hubby grows a few veggies. Lovely lettuce and radishes for salads all summer, we grow a basket or two of those little tumbler tomatoes.......so sweet and delicious, and beans......we have decided we love the yellow ones the best. This year he is going to make the plot a bit bigger and try a few new things?
ReplyDeleteBucket list........ Mmmmmmmm......maybe go back to Australia......my homeland......one more time
Under the bed at the moment is a pair of my shoes and dust bunnies. I think they are multiplying under there. My hubby does the vacuuming and misses under there at times.
My hubby is the better gardener. Once upon a time I was pretty sure I was better, but I was wrong.
DeleteI hope you make it back to Australia too.
Perhaps we all have bunnies under our beds. I actually looked under mine this morning and I was pretty close on my guess as to what was under there.
:0)
Oh....and I grow all sorts of herbs in pots on the back deck. It is lovely to be able to add them to whatever I'm cooking or to a salad.
Delete1. No
ReplyDelete2. Hmmm... I was going to say to see more of the West coast, but alas, that answer has been taken.
3. The ends to our dining room table.
Is that your final answer?
DeleteYou can want to see more of the west coast even if someone else has "taken" that answer. Maybe we could all go together.

My imaginary garden grows vegetables, enough to share with our neighbors. My real garden grows flowers and rhubarb, although one year it grew garlic too.
ReplyDeleteOn my bucket list is sailing. I'd like someone knowledgeable to take me. Lake Ontario sailing would suit me. And snorkeling.
There are bunnies under my bed too. And a stray sock or three.
Maybe this summer you will have a slightly bigger vegetable patch.
DeleteSailing, sailing... Sounds like fun.
Always the bunnies. And stray socks.
