Something Different

I promise not to write the same blog and post the same pictures three days in a row. (Not that the last two blogs were exactly the same or anything...) Allergies have hit hard this year and I'm extra spacey and lethargic. In spite of the lethargy, I did manage to help My Darling plant a bit more of the garden this evening, mostly flowers and a bit of cilantro. No amount of coffee keeps me energized during the day. However, staying awake in the middle of the night doesn't appear to be a problem. ha ha!

I've been enjoying the quieter days and attempting to catch up with a little bit of house cleaning, or maybe I should say clearing. What I really need to do is keep up with clearing things out. It's a constant battle for most of us. Things come into our space, set up housekeeping on our shelves and in our closets, and then begin to spill out into our living spaces. I'm working on it a little at a time and am reminded of "how to eat an elephant." (One bite at a time.)

    1. Thank you, Catherine.
As soon as my nose stops itching I'll be feeling great. It only feels long during the process and somehow the allergy medicines don't do anything to stop that terrible itching. Go figure. Ah well, it makes me grateful for the other ten months of the year.

    3. By the way, my nose doesn't feel long. The allergy season does.

    1. A little here, a little there. If I can get another box or two together tomorrow, they can go in Bethany's yard sale.

  3. My allergies have been especially bad, but I'm not sleepy. I wonder if it's your allergy medicine? I have the nose under control but my eyes sure are itchy!

    1. It's not the medicine that makes me sleepy because it's not anything different than usual. Perhaps it's the humidity that moved in over the past few days. Or maybe I'm just a bum.

    1. I'm never quite sure when to drag out clothes for a different season. We need long sleeves 9 or 10 months out of the year.
