Did Dad write that? The date of the drawing looks like it says 1765. At first I thought maybe he wrote it for a joke...but I guess the 9 only looks like a 7.
I always loved looking at his old drawings, stories and poems.
Dad did not write the song, he just sang it. As for the date on the bottom of the drawing, I think it does say 1765. After all it is an old picture. (He was a joker like that.)
