Down for the Count

I slept away a good part of Wednesday afternoon, woke up with a terrific headache yesterday, and found it had not yet left this morning. I was up at a decent time, took my shower, and then collapsed in my chair and threw a towel over my head. It was dark blue and blocked out the light. After consuming much headache medicine and sleeping much of the morning, I woke up to my family preparing lunch. I still couldn't keep my eyes open (I was somewhat afraid to), and so I curled up once again with my pillow and favorite afghan and slept away the afternoon.

  1. You sound like I felt about a month or so ago. I was having migraines almost daily and went to Agape Physical Therapy. They gave me some exercises to do and gave me a deep tissue massage in my upper shoulders and neck...I could feel all these knots popping and it really hurt, but I haven't had a headache since! Maybe your honey or one of your kids will give you a massage. I would, but I hear we have a lot of snow coming our way. Feel better!

Lately I can't spell. Everything comes out backwards.

Anyway, I hope you're feeling much better this evening. I even called to see if you needed help making dinner tonight. I guess not, cause there was a roast in the crock. Call me if you need anything!

  3. Martha, I hope you are feeling better. I think Rachel may have a great idea. Do you remember when Michelle D had many migraines and then she went to a chiropractor and he helped her a lot??

    The picture is adorable.

  4. Maybe I'm just sick. The headache leaves for a while and then returns later, but I'm really, really tired. Seems like I just keep sleeping and staying tired.

  7. They may be signs of depression, but they are also signs of the flu. Give me another day or two and I'll probably be feeling fine. :)
