V is for vine.He dug it up and cleared out its stones, And planted it with the choicest vine. He built a tower in its midst, And also made a wine press in it; So He expected it to bring forth good grapes, But it brought forth wild grapes. Isaiah 5:2
We found it all but impossible to keep wild vines from growing in our apple trees. The grape vines had a stranglehold, and the wild roses were nothing short of vicious!

ReplyDeleteI love Concord grapes, which they look like. They used to grow wild on the back of my grandmother's next door neighbor's house.
