Remember when the bulbs on strings of Christmas lights were big and really got hot?

This was my very first Christmas. I was nine months old and my brothers were 7 and 6.

    How cute! I remember those bulbs. I loved helping to decorate the tree as a kid, and look at all the cool ornaments mom had. One of my favorites was the granny on the swing.

    I think we still have some of those strings in our attic but of course we don't use them anymore. They really did get hot! Nice picture.
