I am checking in a little late with my Tuesday Treasure entry. I was gone all day yesterday and had to dig up these photos in old files and folders. A few years ago the Cabinet Maker sold an old truck (back to its original owner) and as part of the bargain, gained an old 1948 Chrysler Windsor. He thought it would make a great project, but had severely underestimated the amount of time and money the restoration would take. It would have been fun, but in the end we decided to sell it. (I still love the photos.)
just imagine!

It's a great-looking car, even un-restored!
ReplyDeleteIt was fun just looking at that old thing.

Everything takes longer and is more expensive to complete than you would think...well at least it does for me. Always remember, better late than never. Thanks Martha for joining Wednesday's Treasures this week. You hurry on back soon.
ReplyDeleteI love being a part of this game.

The Windsor is a beauty but sometimes it is the better part of valor to know when to let one go.
ReplyDeleteThere will always be a next project!
