I am curious as to what's inside.
There is an old and (I presume) rusty treasure outside.
The lonely cinder block building with no smoke coming out the chimney.
Hm... And old gasoline pump and what looks like a storm cellar. More treasures!

Martha, what a neat collection! The barn is wonderful and the gas pump is weathered to perfection. There's lots of great stuff in our neck of the woods and I hope that you return with a bunch more.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that gas pump great? I wonder how many farms had their own gas tank... Probably all of them. There really is a lot of great stuff around here!

What a great treasure you have here. Wouldn't it be fun to peek inside and listen to the stories the barn could tell.

I would love to take a peek inside. Not sure who owns the house. Maybe I'll try and find out.

This place is just full of treasures, and looks like apple trees pruned to have open centers till they won't grow so tall. I really enjoyed this series!
ReplyDeleteYes, the orchards are still farmed but the house and barns are looking a bit lonely. The newer apple trees are the dwarf varieties. By May they will be covered with blossoms.

That is a wonderful, old barn. Wish it could talk.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Michelle. I want to hear the stories.
