Yesterday, between naps, we took a ride out to the Chimney Bluffs to deliver a set of sliding glass doors. I took my camera along in case I should spot anything fascinating.
Lake Ontario at Chimney Bluffs
Chimney Bluffs from just outside the park
Lake erosion behind the cottages on East Bay Road
An old hornet's nest. I walked right past without seeing it the first time. They're pretty interesting to look at when you know the hornets aren't lurking nearby.
And a tiny nest on the ground near an evergreen tree. See the teeny, tiny pine cones?
You must need the sleep...
ReplyDeleteI am not a napper..wish I was!
Lovely finds at the Lake...
Hope to get out to our Lake on Friday...
Hopefully no squirrels inside!
Enjoy your evening...
Cheers!

I guess I do need the sleep otherwise I'd have been awake all night.
DeleteI hope you find the Lake House in order with no uninvited tenants.
I have the gift of sleep. I enjoy naps too, but seldom take one. On occasion I crash and sleep for hours.
ReplyDeleteYour photography is lovely....would love to visit there.
And I would love to have you.
DeleteThe Cabinet Maker has asked if I want to visit you again...

I adore that sweet, small nest. I find them on occasion. I like to nap, but it does mess with my sleep pattern, so I don't do it much!
ReplyDeleteI was tempted to take the sweet, small nest home, but in the end I left it there in the grass to be discovered by something or someone else.

ReplyDeleteYes, and today I didn't sleep. I celebrated early.

I LOVE a nap. I get my big Eddie Bauer down blanket, sit in my big Lazy Boy chair lean back and conk out. Sometimes for just half an hour, but sometimes longer. It never interferes with my nighttime sleep. zzzzzzzzz
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your photos Martha. You certainly have an eye for getting interesting ones. A talent I think.

I love a nap when my schedule allows, or if I'm so tired I can't hold my head up or keep my eyes open.
DeleteThank you, Marilyn. I do love capturing what catches my eye. And I love to share.
