We're in the midst of a nor'easter and visibility is limited. According to the weather channel visibility is about.08 miles. I'm not completely sure what it is under normal conditions, but I do know that blowing snow makes traveling treacherous. Afternoon school activities have been cancelled along with many evening activities as well. Looks like we'll be staying in tonight. Maybe we'll pour ourselves a cup of hot chocolate and roast a few marshmallows in the wood stove.For more ABC Wednesday, click here.

DeleteThere was a nor'easter here too; yesterday was a lot of flooding and wind and today rain and wind.

Catherine, the snow arrived mid morning and is snarling up traffic and encouraging "some" of us to stay home. I just do not appreciate snow and cold like I did as a youngster...

DeleteJill is having unbelievable storms up in Brookings OR. 25 foot waves, and wind that blew off the chicken coop roof.

It's pretty much normal out there today as far as I can tell. Icy, perhaps, but then again, I haven't been out on the roads at all.
DeleteIt took me an hour to drive home from Fairport yesterday. It normall takes just under a half an hour. Today we had a two hour delay...which enabled me to dig out the car and the end of the driveway which had been plowed in my snowplows.
