Chimney Bluffs State Park

Yesterday's trip to the honeybee farm was followed by a walk along the beach at Chimney Bluffs State Park. The bluffs are no longer the magnificent spectacle of the past, but it is a wonderful place to visit just the same.

Deborah and I made our way down to the rock beach and along the shore, picking up rocks, and looking for treasure. A beachcomber before us had left several piles of rocks along the water's edge. Deb found her customary heart shaped beach stone and added it to the tower.

I am thankful to God for the gift of this friend, our shared love of photography and books, and the encouragement she has been to me. He knows just what we need and when. And He is good.

    1. Yes, they are. And I am thankful for your friendship too. There is nothing quite like a sister or two.
