We were off to my niece's graduation party today. It rained and rained. Upon our arrival back at home I found the cause of our poor Oreo's agony. He has an abscess. I will spare you the gory details and just say, "It's gross."
Looks of cat injuries end up in abscess! An antibiotic shot should make him feel much better. Our Socks has had a few on his back...probably from fights with the town ferals.
He does seem a little better. Hard to tell, but he's still eating and drinking (and stinking). The abscess continues to drain and now I can see where he was probably bitten. We kept him in a plastic prison last night and then while we were gone to church this morning. He didn't seem to mind too much.
We came home.....pouring buckets! I see on the news, tons of lightning down Pt Colborne way....that only means one thing.....NO POWER! Glad we are home.... Hope Oreo feels better... Cheers! Linda :o)
I hope you can get poor kitty tot the vet soon so he will feel better.
ReplyDeleteDear Martha, I hope that Oreo is better soon. xo Catherine
