The Watching Sky

It seemed the perfect day. Ben, Hannah and I decided to take a ride down to the park, skip some stones, and watch the sailboats. The sun was shining and the park full of people picnicing and celebrating graduations. Children laughed and people called out.

Not long after we arrived the warm, gentle breeze gained strength and cooled. Storm clouds rolled in and blocked the sun. The water no longer glistened or shimmered, instead the surface began to ripple and the waves lapped at the shoreline. It was beautiful.

I took several photos of the storm clouds. Do you see what I see?

  1. There is a face in the middle of your cloud! If I squint I see two, one is whispering in the other's ear. Fun and a little scary too.

  3. Martha, a most interesting photo. I enlarged it for a good look. The ripple pattern on the water is beautiful. The cloud? I see a circle in the middle, and within that circle is what looks like a cross. What do you see?

    Fascinating image!

  10. I see that Bethany is up looking at blogs too instead of getting Mommy sleep, we really should go to bed! We were outside playing soccer and all of a sudden the temperature dropped, and I imagine that's when you saw what you saw on the lake. What a neat picture, but the cloud faces are a bit eerie. Did you see the double rainbow tonight? We had a faint one, the sun was already setting. It seems as if God is having fun with our sky today.
