I'll Fly Away

I am home again after a week with my dear friend Wanda and her husband Don. It was a time of rest and relaxation, deep conversation, and enduring friendship. I'm suffering from a bit of jet-lag today, took a nap on the couch and woke up scarcely knowing where I was or what day I'd landed in, much less who I am. ha ha!

Tomorrow, when my brain is a little less foggy, I'll post about my coast to coast trip and the lovely time we had together. Tonight I think I'll relax and go to bed early, if I can figure out what that means. Rather than Pacific Coast Time or Eastern Standard, I'm feeling a bit like I'm in the Twilight Zone.

    1. Oops, I guess I can't post Twilight zone music as a comment on your post. Glad you had a nice week of rest and relaxation with your friends.

  3. I'm so glad you had such a lovely visit with Wanda. A change of scenery is just the best thing for the soul. Jet lag is awful...........when I travel to my homeland Australia I have jet lag for a week usually. I have read that on the day you arrive home stay up till 11 pm and sleep 8 hours and try not to have naps and it resets your internal clock faster. Hmmppphh..........right........whomever came up with THAT never had really bad jet lag. No matter what I do it takes about 5-7 days to recover. Welcome back....I missed you!

    1. Thanks for missing me Marilyn. That is sweet.
I got home after 11 pm. slept beautifully, AND took a nap yesterday afternoon. Here's hoping I recover by tomorrow. I'm feeling pretty good right now. Visiting Wanda and Don was wonderful! They are truly special and dear to my heart. I will miss them for many days to come.
